Mic directional adalah mic yang sering dipake untuk bernyanyi. Sementara untuk mic condensor adalah mic yang biasanya dipakai untuk rekaman dan sangat sensitif sekali. Bentuknya selalu berbeda dari mic directional. Mic condensor juga sering dipake untuk paduan suara ataupun orkestra.
